Inspiring spots: The Victoria Falls
Information
The Victoria Falls are a waterfall on the Zambezi River on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is one of the world’s largest waterfalls with a width of more than 1,708 m and a height of 108 metres.
In November and December only 20,000 m³ of water per minute flows down the falls. In March and Apri, over 500 000 m³ of water plunges down the falls. The spray shoots up to 400 m high during this time. It can be seen from a distance of up to 40 km.
David Livingstone was the first European who visited the falls in 1855.

How to get there?
The distance from Kasana (Botsuana) to the falls is about 80 km.
